We are a school district that services 65 schools and we have almost 500 Aerohive Access Points deployed to provide wireless access to these schools.

LAN Sweeper is picking up the access points, but not able to successfully scan them to get detailed information. The Access Points run a Linux based OS, so I have created a scanning credential for SSH using credentials that I know work when I SSH into the Access Point directly. However, when they scan with LAN Sweeper, here is the error I am getting:

SSH Error Could not connect to SSH with credentials Aerohive 1 (admin)

Any idea why credentials that I know should work are not allowing LAN Sweeper to scan the device properly? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I really want create some reports for these access points with Serial Number info and so on.

You will be able to gather most information by enabling SNMP on the access points.
SSH is only useful for actual linux hosts.
