Hello there,

We migrated our Lansweeper server v4 to v5.1.
When we want to pass authentication in "windows", only local server accounts can be used to connect, no account "AD" can not connect.
(I have used several times the steps provided in the documentation but it does not solve the problem)
Can you help me?

Thanks

resolved by removing in the iisexpress.config file, in the <security> <authentication> section, the "negotiate" line and everything works as expected.

Thank you for your help,
have a nice day

Hello there,

The problem is before groups and permissions configured in Lansweeper.
Here is the screenshot of the login (that only accepts a local account to the server) and the error message if an AD account is used.
I also attach the screenshot of "Configuration / Website Management / Website Access section of the web console Lansweeper"

Thank you for your help 🙂

What do these problem users see when accessing the Lansweeper web console? An access denied page that lists the users' user groups and web console privileges? If so, did you add the individual user accounts or a user group the users belong to to the Configuration/Website Management/Website Access section of the Lansweeper web console?

Submit user groups with the format NetBIOS domain name\group name, individual users with the format NetBIOS domain name\username and separate user/group entries with commas.

Note that you should no longer add user groups directly to your web.config file. This was the old way of doing it, under Lansweeper 4.X. In Lansweeper 5.X, you must submit your groups and users in the Lansweeper web console.
