  • Error: Scanning Access denied
    Follow this guide to fix access denied errors.
     
  • Computer is online but firewalled.
    This computer responds to Ping requests but not to WMI queries, please follow this RPC unavailable guide.
     
  • Computer is offline or firewalled.
    This computer does not respond to Ping requests but not to WMI queries, please follow this RPC unavailable guide.
     
  • Error: WMI service is disabled on this machine.
    Start "services.msc" on the target computer, locate service Windows Management Instrumentation, make sure it is set to Automatic and Started.
     
  • Error: Computer name [Computer name] does not resolve to an IP address.
    This computer DNS settings are incorrect, please follow the DNS guide on this page.
     
  • SSH Error : Could not connect to SSH with credentials [credential name]
    Please check if the SSH user has administrative privileges on the Linux computer that you are trying to scan.
     
  • Error: Cannot connect to SSH server.
    This computer is detected as a Linux/Mac host but port 22 is not open in the firewall or SSH is not installed.
     
  • Vmware Error: Could not scan VMware with credentials [credential name]
    Please check if the Vmware user has administrative privileges on the vmware host that you are trying to scan.
     
  • Call was canceled by the message filter. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010002 (RPC_E_CALL_CANCELED)
    This WMI scanning error is caused by a bad network connection or by a third party firewall filtering traffic.
     
  • The object invoked has disconnected from its clients. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010108 (RPC_E_DISCONNECTED))
    This WMI scanning error is caused by a bad network connection or a WMI query time-out.
