Last summer Lansweeper kicked off its first ever Lansweeper 360 – User Conference. In one of the sessions Lansweeper’s VP of Product Marketing, Daniel Galecki took to the main stage to talk about the recently launched Lansweeper Cloud application. He was joined by Cliff du Puy, Director of IT at Grand Traverse County, who gave us his perspective on how they, as early access users, have already leveraged the new Cloud platform to take their IT asset management to the next level.

Over the last 18 months, Lansweeper has put a massive effort into the development of Lansweeper Cloud, focussing on improving usability, reporting, interoperability, and much more. Now the results are in and Lansweeper Cloud is out there and available to all Lansweeper users, offering these 5 core benefits:
- Secure access to your data, from anywhere: Your data is kept in a secure, Lansweeper-managed environment, that you can access through SSO or MFA
- An improved user interface: Search, sort, filter, and bulk edit your assets. Make the interface your own with customizable views.
- Simplified report creation: Create custom reports and schedule report execution.
- API-Integration: Use pre-built and custom integrations to connect Lansweeper to your other IT tools.
- Federation of data from multiple installations: a single pane of glass to see your entire IT estate.
On top of these core benefits, Lansweeper Cloud brings you more added value in the shape of asset lifecycle management, extended discovery capabilities for OT, Software Normalization, and a number of pre-built integrations, both by Lansweeper and by our integrations partners, and much more.

Grand Traverse County uses Lansweeper Cloud to manage their IT assets: “Cloud reporting has made it so much easier to supply users with the reports they need for inventory, specifically to report back on grants and chargebacks,” Cliff told us, “No need to know SQL, just point and click.” About half of their users are now using Lansweeper Cloud with more to follow, as they are making moves to integrate with their ERP solution. The goal is to create a single pane of glass for ERP, HR, Account Management, Finance, and of course Inventory so customers know where to go and the leadership knows what’s going on. The new customizable view means that they can have a CSV with the information they need ready to go in a matter of minutes. Watch the webinar below to find out more.
