AIPTEK or Affordable Innovative Personal Technologies is an electronic consumer product manufacturer based in Hsinchu, Taiwan. The company began its operations in 1997, producing and developing graphics tablets. The brand gained worldwide recognition in 2000 with its PenCam. Since then the company has been providing consumers and commercial customers with products including pico projectors, digitizers, digital photo frames, camcorders and other 3D products.
In more recent developments, AIPTEK has ventured into launching one of the first mobile projectors, ghetto blasters, and karaoke machines. Having gained a sizeable part of the market, AIPTEK established new offices in Shanghai, China, California, USA and Willich, Germany.
