Lancom Systems GmbH began its operations in 2002 in Würselen, Germany when Ralf Koenzen began assembled a 10-person team to develop communications systems. Soon after, the company released Europe’s first certified WLAN products with up to 108 Mbps speed. Currently, Lancom Systems is still located in Würselen and continues to provide high-performance networking solutions for the business and public sectors.
Their product portfolio includes several product lines including routers, switches, gateways, networking software, and related services. Besides that, Lancom also specializes in software-defined networking and provides solutions like SD-WLAN, SD-LAN, and SD-WAN.
