Developed in the United Kingdom, Raspberry Pi is a series of single-board computers that was first released on 29th February 2012. The computers are developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation to encourage teaching basic computer science and technology in developing countries. The computer was well-received in the market and was used in various applications including robotics.
While most of their models are designed without peripherals like mice, keyboards, and cases, several official and unofficial bundles have been included with accessories. Most of these models are designed, developed, and manufactured in a Sony facility located in Pencoed, Wales while others are manufactured in China and Japan.
