To accommodate the soft launch of our IT Asset Data Platform, we have created terms that govern your use of the IT Asset Data Platform (“ADP Terms”). These ADP Terms are an addition to our Terms of Use and consolidate the cloud provisions which were previously contained in our Terms of Use. Further, the ADP Terms incorporate our API Terms which govern your use of our cloud API.
Cloud Provisions
For your convenience, we have made a summary of the provisions contained in our ADP Terms:
- Section 1 (Definitions) sets out the definitions used in the ADP Terms.
- Section 2 (Scope of application) explains the scope of applicability of the ADP Terms.
- Section 3 (Cloud services) details your rights and obligations concerning:
- your sign-up and access to the IT Asset Data Platform;
- your eligibility to link your Lansweeper installation(s) to a cloud site;
- the administration of your cloud site;
- the features and functionalities of the IT Asset Data Platform;
- your usage rights;
- your use of our cloud API as well as the applications that we may make available to you.
- Section 4 (Acceptable use) provides the acceptable use provisions which govern your use of the IT Asset Data Platform.
- Section 5 (Licensee Content) sets out the mutual rights and obligations in relation to the Licensee Content (i.a. scanning data) that is transferred to the IT Asset Data Platform.
- Section 6 (Recourse) provides the specific remedies that may be exercised by Lansweeper in case of non-compliance with the acceptable use provisions.
- Section 7 (Data export and deletion) sets out the export and deletion rights you have in relation to the Licensee Content that is stored within our IT Asset Data Platform.
Acceptance
The ADP Terms will become effective on November 27th, 2020, and will apply to your use of the IT Asset Data Platform as of that date.
