We are announcing new Lansweeper subscription plans staying true to our guiding principles of simplicity, capacity-based, and delivering the greatest value for money possible. To answer all your questions about the new subscription plans we want to provide full transparency and share our thinking on how we believe this new approach will bring value to our users.

Over the past 2 years alone our team grew from less than 100 to more than 300 colleagues as we continue to invest in new capabilities. Through acquisitions, we integrated Fing’s Device Recognition capabilities and Cloudockit’s powerful SaaS discovery and visualization features. Our product roadmap, as shown at our first-ever Lansweeper 360 User Conference, is full of exciting new capabilities aimed at empowering you, our IT Heroes.

So what’s changing?

Our new subscription plans are shifting away from a one-size-fits-all approach and are aligning certain features, services, and capabilities to the needs of our different customers. Going forward, we will have 3 Lansweeper subscription plans; allowing organizations to choose which version of Lansweeper best fits their needs: Starter, Pro, and Enterprise. More detail on the features included in the plans and a side-by-side comparison is available here.

Why new subscription plans?

Lansweeper’s origins are as a tool for System Administrators needing a solution to maintain an accurate and up-to-date view of their IT assets. We spoke to many of our customers and dug into the data and realized there are different audiences using Lansweeper in different settings. The new subscription plans are designed to serve these audiences and the value they derive from Lansweeper. Going forward these new plans will be the only way in which new customers can purchase Lansweeper licenses.

What about existing customers?

Everybody can enjoy all our new features in Lansweeper at no extra cost, which are currently in a preview phase. This will allow you to experience the new functionality and share your feedback.

In the next months, we’ll clearly communicate in Lansweeper and via our sales & partner teams when you’re making use of features that are not supported by your current subscription plan. If you choose to continue using these features, we’ll be happy to work with you on upgrading to one of the new subscription plans. For now, if you wish to remain on the subscription plan you are on today; that is fine as well.

What’s next?

Over the coming months, you can expect to see even more exciting features being added to Lansweeper ranging from new asset classes beyond IT, strengthening our Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management capabilities including vulnerability reporting, accelerating the ability to manage Hybrid infrastructures, and ongoing improvements in your Lansweeper interface. We invite you to join the Lansweeper Community and engage with us to help define our joint future.
