SWAPGS Vulnerability Audit

Operating System Security Vulnerability

Find Unpatched Computers Vulnerable to SWAPGS Attacks

SWAPGS (CVE-2019-1125) uses a system instruction that is used by the operating system to switch between two Model Specific Registers. The SWAPGS attack is, in effect, a variant of the Spectre V1 attack and could allow unprivileged local attackers to access sensitive information stored in the operating system privileged kernel memory, including passwords, tokens, and encryption keys. You can find more information about this vulnerability in the SWAPGS blog post. This audit provides a color-coded overview of all Windows computers and whether they have the patch for SWAPGS installed or not. This gives you a quick and easy overview of your patch status and allows you to find devices that might be having issues receiving Microsoft updates or that might not have been updated for some other reason. Detect outdated machines, start updating or simply manage your updating process in your network. SWAPGS Vulnerability Audit
