Mozilla released its new versions for Firefox and Firefox ESR with additional functionality and security fixes on the 11th of April, 2023. New features, fixes, and changes in Firefox 112, as listed on Mozilla’s release page include:
Right-clicking on password fields now shows an option to reveal the password.
Ubuntu Linux users can now import their browser data from the Chromium Snap package. Currently, this will only work if Firefox is not also installed as a Snap package.

Firefox 112 enables the overlay of software-decoded video on Intel GPUs in Windows. This improves video downscaling quality and reduces GPU usage.
The deprecated U2F Javascript API is now disabled by default. You can still use the U2F protocol through the WebAuthn API. You can reenable U2F API using the security.webauth.u2f preference.
The Clear button, newly added to the date picker panel, allows users to quickly clear the input with type date or datetime-local and provides a familiar experience across browsers.
The new releases bring 22 security fixes in Firefox 112 and 13 for Firefox ESR 102.9. 10 of these issues received a high severity rating. They include out-of-bound memory access, a write-lock bypass, obscured fullscreen notifications, memory corruption, a number of memory safety bugs, and an assortment of other issues.
