In Firefox 90, a new auto-update feature has been added that can update Firefox while it is not running. A new about:third-party page is added to help with compatibility issues. About:preferences#privacy now lets you manage exceptions to HTTPS-Only mode. Print to PDF can now create working hyperlinks. Version 2 of Firefox’s SmartBlock feature further improves private browsing. Additionally, FTP support has been removed, the software WebRender performance has been improved and the “Open Image in New Tab” context menu item now opens images and media in a background tab by default. Lastly, Firefox has fixed 5 high-impact vulnerabilities in Firefox 90 and 3 in Firefox ESR 78.12.
