Google released Chrome 106 for Windows, Linux, and Mac. In this release, Google fixed 16 security issues and added additional features. The new features include:
Accurate screen labels for window placement
Chrome 106 will show Journeys on the History page on Android
Incognito lock on Android
Incognito downloads prompt on Android
Release of Prerender2 in Desktop
Chrome 106 allows users to search their history, bookmarks, and tabs directly in the Omnibox
New lock screen widgets for iOS 16
Updates to the instructional chip shown when using region search
Persistent quota deprecation launch
Changes to chrome.runtime
New and updated policies in the Chrome browser
